Description
Stainless: Enduro Bearings produces certain series of bearings made with stainless 440C steel bullets. This material offers maximum resistance to corrosion in all circumstances. Depending on the application, the ABEC 3 or ABEC 5 quality is used. Stainless steel bullets have 20% less capacity than the 52100 steel bullets that are used in most of our bearings, but these do have better protection against corrosion. Enduro Bearings uses a CRC Marine fat in these bearings as extra protection against pollution. LLB: our most popular seal, consisting of a rubber finish with a metal core. In contrast to the standard 2RS, we go a little further through the mechanical placement of a notch in the inner ring, where the seal can run with an excellent efficiency and a resistance compared to a lesser bearing. Rather than a single «lip» of a thick seal that sands against an uneven surface, the type of LLB uses 2 lips of seals, fine such as a razor blade that slides into a notch with a light contact. The outer «lip» keeps water and impurities out, while the inner seal retains the fat for smooth rotation and long intervals between the maintenance.
